Dr. Orta’s areas of expertise include oral surgery, endodontic treatments, periodontics, operative, and restorative dentistry. Committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in dentistry and advancing her clinical expertise, Dr. Orta regularly participates in continuing education. Areas in which she has pursued advanced training include endodontics, oral rehabilitation, pain management, and infection control.

Meet Dr. Galvan
Dr. Victor Galvan brings over a decade of healthcare experience to Smiles of Fort Myers, combining a strong clinical foundation with a compassionate approach to patient care. Before becoming a dentist, he worked as a Registered Nurse in critical care and home health, which gives him a unique understanding of patient needs and comfort. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida after graduating magna cum laude with a nursing degree, and has since completed advanced training in implant dentistry and IV sedation.
Known for his calm, caring presence, Dr. Galvan helps patients feel at ease, especially those who experience dental anxiety. His certifications in IV sedation and moderate sedation, along with his critical care background, ensure safety and comfort during more complex procedures. Whether he’s placing an implant or doing a routine exam, Dr. Galvan takes time to listen, explain, and tailor care to each individual. He’s fluent in English and Spanish, and is passionate about making dental visits as positive and stress-free as possible.
